Organizing for Action attempted to ruin baseball’s opening day with a photo of a mom-jeans-clad President Obama. But nothing can destroy America’s pastime! The Washington Nationals made opening day even more special. The first pitch was thrown by Medal of Honor recipient, former staff sergeant, Clint Romesha.

Tapper’s article on former SSG Romesha is truly a must-read. As Twitchy reported, Jake Tapper fought to have veterans flown in for Clint Romesha’s Medal of Honor ceremony.

Twitter users and Nationals fans honor former SSG Romesha as well.
