There are rights we believe we possess in the United States that are violated each and every day. Many have to do with our assumption we have a right to privacy. We warn you, the video we reference at the end of this article is disturbing. If you do not want to know the extent to which they can violate your privacy, do not watch it. This is a news article from the Wall Street Journal, not some random internet blog. This is quite real and very disturbing.
There are many new technologies that make it easy to violate our privacy. And it isn’t just the brilliant hacker or computer geek that has access to these spying techniques. A total moron can purchase them and use them. Any criminal, any bad cop, a pervert, anyone.
The authorities claim they will not misuse the information they gather, but not only good cops will have access to the information. Police agencies are rife with untrained and uneducated officers. If you do not believe there are also many bad police officers, a simple search on Youtube will provide you clear evidence of how badly some police misuse their authority. Even if you believe that is only a small percentage, say one out of ten, the implications are horrifying.
Police forces across the nation have been caught red handed spying on innocent law abiding citizens. It is only when they are captured by the media that they admit they are using a technology to spy on you. You can be certain that many more will be exposed going forward than the one you are about to see exposed in this video.
